The family house "Villa
Bijanka" is situated at the very entrance
to Jelsa.
Jelsa is one of the most vivid island places, crowded around
the picturesque square touching the coast. Once the place of
seamen and wine, nowadays Jelsa is the place of tourism. Jelsa
returned us into the island's thousand-year-old culture. Very
close to Jelsa is Grabčeva Jama, the cradle of the Croatian
civilization, essential for the whole neolithic Mediterranean.
The ancient fortress Tor, for which there is no knowing who
built it, the Illyrians or ancient Greeks, raises over the place
and remains us to the times out of mind.
